The bulk up form of Prabhas, the lead actor of the movie, left all of us swooning. While the movie smashed all records in the Telugu film industry it created a major stir in northern belt with its Hindi version as well. Prabhas trained really hard for his role and weighed a whopping 130kg to fit in the muscular frame of the warrior Baahubali.

Prabhas’s Warrior Workout For Baahubali
The workout sessions for Prabhas were divided into two segments of morning and evening each being one and a half hour long.
He started his exercising routine with basic warm up at his in-house gym for which he bought equipment worth one and half crores from the United States. He even hired a local trainer who could meet the likes of the stunt coordinator Peter Hein. He used, to begin with, 15minutes of cardio and additional 15minutes of yoga, followed by dumbbells and stretching. Post this, he went straight to his Cross-fit and plyometric which are an integral part of his training regimen to Warrior Body.
Prabhas’s Warrior Diet For Baahubali
Prabhas complemented his tough exercise routine with nutritious and healthy homemade meals. His diet plan was based on his body weight, lifestyle and form he was in during that period.
Prabhas followed a diet which was very well balanced between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. His dietitian ensured that his diet must include a healthy intake of carbohydrates and protein as he needs to put on a lot of muscular mass.
He began his day with a heavy breakfast that included 42 egg whites boiled and blended with protein powder, 250gms of chicken and fresh fruits. His lunch comprised of seven small meals crafted using brown rice, nuts, almonds, fish, oatmeal and vegetable salad made from fibrous carbs rich food items like broccoli, spinach and pasta. His total calorie intake for a day was between 2000 to 4000 calories.
As a post workout meal, he used to consumed one and a half scoop of whey protein powder with low-fat milk.

Tips From Prabhas To Have Body Like Baahubali
- One should follow a rigorous and weightlifting workout so that the body can grow in the right proportions.
- Never rely on steroids for building body, as Prabhas says, drugs can be risky and may even lead to some health hazards in the long run.
- Prabhas prefers to have a daily routine workout with proper diet and regular training that help him maintain his body.
