Why did you decide to transform?
During the initial days of lockdown, I got anxious and depressed which made me do a lot of mood eating. Then after a couple of months I realised that things were getting out of hand, so I got serious about my health and fitness. From May onwards, I started with my journey to become better again with whatever equipment I had at home. It was a really slow and not my best transformation but since gyms were closed, I was happy with my results.
How did you accomplish your goals?
I made sure to workout 6 days a week and keep my food intake full of good nutrition. Instead of getting most of my calories through junk food, I tried to stick to home cooked food that kept my calories low and helped me achieve my goals of losing fat.
Training routine that helped you achieve your goals?
Monday: Push Workout
Tuesday: Pull Workout
Wednesday: Leg Workout
Thursday: Push Workout
Friday: Pull Workout
Saturday: Leg Workout
Sunday: Rest Day/Long Run Day
Which supplements did you take?
Whey Protein Isolate, Fish Oil & Multi Vitamin.
What challenges did you face during your transformation?
Working out at home was really boring initially as the environment plays a big role to motivate you and the lack of equipment also took out a lot of exercise options. But with time I got used to it and became consistent with my workout.
Suggestion for future transformers
Just focus on the beginning first. The initial days might seem very tough but once you start feeling the change, then you become passionate about it and that makes it easier for you to achieve your fitness goal.
