Medha’s Rise: From Frail to Fitness Powerhouse

1) Why did you decide to transform?

I always felt uncomfortable in my own skin and had low self esteem. Sometimes, outsiders also made comments on my appearance that were super insecure. So, I decided that I have to make some changes and started working on my body and joined the gym. 

2) How did you accomplish your goals?

It took me around 2 years to reach here and all in all I would say, I stayed consistent and showed up everyday to work on my physical fitness. 

3) Training routine that helped you achieve your goals?

My training routine for gaining weight was weightlifting with progressive overload and mainly having a rich diet, eating in a calorie surplus manner. It also included the addition of protein and carbs in my diet. 

4) Which supplements did you take?

I took whey protein, multivitamins, fish oil capsules and L-carnitine. 

5) What challenges did you face during your transformation?

I struggled with maintaining consistency in my routine, especially with eating enough to gain weight.

6) Suggestion for future transformers.

If you want it bad enough you definitely have to work for it. Moreover, don’t be disappointed if  you don’t see progress just in a few months. It’s a very slow process but down a year or two, you would be proud of your journey.
