Why did you decide to transform?

Transformation became an important part of my life and the decision I took to dedicate myself to something positive. It was not just about changing from body to become healthier but also a change in lifestyle which would have long-lasting and better health related outcomes.

How did you accomplish your goals?

I immersed myself to understand the physics, nutrition and health elements related to transforming my body. I began understanding my own body and how it reacts to change in my diet and workout schedules. I learnt more about my body and was able to follow a rigorous routine despite working in a bank full time. Working and other commitments are not a reason for us to not pursue strict regimes when needed.

Training routine that helped you achieve your goals?

Over the last 10 years I have tried various different training routines, working out no more than 1 hour a day – also recognising and celebrating rest days. Techniques of push, pull, legs have been extremely helpful. Other useful techniques are giant sets, drop sets, supersets which help you push your limits.

Which supplements did you take?

I firmly believe in staying natural and not using steroids. Throughout my transformation I was told several times that the body I want cannot be achieved without steroids. I promote and use natural supplements which help your body such as WHEY Isolate Protein, BCAA, Glutamine, Pre-workout, L-Carnitine, CLA, multivitamins, calcium, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and LIV-52.

What challenges did you face during your transformation?

The first challenge I had was a lack of energy and not understanding why I cannot do giant sets and supersets. I slowly learnt the fine balance between the food we eat and the outputs we can give during our workouts. There is a constant challenge of body transformation myths which make it difficult for those starting off.

Suggestion for future transformers

My biggest advice is to have a larger focus on nutrition, knowing the right food to eat. People should understand what supplements they need and why these are important for our body. Stay strong, be persistent and carve your own journey.

Mention your weight, age, body fat before and after your transformation.

I am 21 years old and before my weight was 77kg, body fat 23% & now I am 28 years old and my weight is 82kg, body fat 6-7%.
